Maria Hicks, Office Manager
I began my career in healthcare in 1992 after working in an accounting position for several years. My internship was at an ENT office which led to being hired by that physician. He told me he hired me for my smile and personality. After 20 years there, he retired and I then came to work for Dr. Ali and have been his support staff and practice team leader since. Over the years of helping patients with their needs, I have grown to learn each of our patients’ needs and how I can help them have a favorable patient experience with our office. In fact, many patients ask for me personally because I have dealt with them for so many years and we have grown to have mutual respect for each other. I truly enjoy seeing them when they come in as well as the new patients that I meet.
Isabel Edmond, Medical Assistant
Certified medical assistant since 2008 and have been working in this specialty since 2012. Enjoy being in the medical field as I likethe interaction with patients and being able to assist them with their medical needs and concerns.
Scott O'Leary, Audiologist
Scott brings over 30 years experience as a certified, licensed audiologist to our practice. A graduate of Texas Christian University and the University of North Texas, Scott has been in the Fort Worth area for the last 20 year and with Dr. Ali since 2012. He specializes in hearing instruments from various manufacturers and also is integral in our assessment of balance disorders. He enjoys coming to work each day to meet our patients and seek our new ways to assist them with their hearing and communication needs.
Iris Dominguez Medical Assistant
I was born in Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua Mexico. My family moved to the Fort Worth area in 1994 and I have lived here ever since. I graduated from C.F Brewer high school in 2008 and later graduated from Everest College as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant in 2010 and have been in the ENT specialty since. I chose to become a medical assistant because I love helping and interacting with patients and most importantly knowing that I am making a life changing difference in a patient's life.
Karon Bailey Medical Assistant/Front Desk
Been working in the medical field since 2015, where I had an Internship at OBGYN for several months, and then was hired on by Dr. Tahir Ali. I have been a medical assistant for 5 years and now I work at the front desk where I enjoy interacting with patients as well as medical coding and verification of insurances. This has given me a good perspective of the entire patient experience. I enjoy getting to know all of our patients personally and creating a bond with them. I come from a family full of nurses and medical personnel and I could not imagine myself doing anything else. I love helping people when they are not feeling well.
